About us
Our Approach
To move the needle, we operate across three levels of impact:
Tier 1: Strategic Architects (Ages 19–24): The designers of the movement. They manage our data, oversee site safety, and govern the strategy.
Tier 2: Creative Ambassadors (Ages 15–18): The content engine. They are the filmmakers, graphic designers, and event hosts making the vision visible.
Tier 3: Next Gen Connectors (Ages 10–14): The future. They map our neighborhood assets and connect their peers to safe spaces.
The Architect’s Code
Everything we build is rooted in three non-negotiable norms:
BE HONEST: We tell the truth about our streets and our struggles. No faking.
BE OPEN: We respect the "Zip Code Peace Treaty." We work across all blocks to build one Charlotte.
ASK QUESTIONS: We don't just follow the crowd. We lead with curiosity and design our own future.
Our Impact
Powered by the CMRignite framework and the City of Charlotte, we use real-time data to track our reach. We don't just count views; we count lives shifted, conflicts de-escalated, and youth connected to opportunities.
Our Vision
In the 704, we believe that Peace should be more viral than violence. For too long, the stories told about our neighborhoods—specifically 28216, 28205, 28206, and 28208—have been defined by what’s going wrong. The #704Way is here to flip the script. We aren't just a program; we are a youth-led media powerhouse and culture movement designed to out-market violence and make "The Peace" trend.
What We Do
We combine "Street Intelligence" with professional-grade content production. By hiring and training the most influential young voices in Charlotte, we create a Ladder of Leadership that empowers youth to own their narrative. From cinematic "Peace Pod" mobile studios to viral social media campaigns, we are building a communications infrastructure that connects our peers to real resources and a new standard of living.
